Jackie King
Jacqueline “Jackie” King’s voice comes from her love of writing fiction. As with any professional, when her publisher asked for a nonfiction book to fit his Devoted Books imprint, King said okay. She applied her fictional voice to true life stories in DEVOTED TO COOKING. Her writing voice remains consistent, but King’s tone and style changed from her “Foxy Hen” novellas: FLIRTING AT FIFTY (2006), THE SPINSTER, THE PIG AND THE ORPHAN (2007) and THE GHOST WHO WOULDN’T SKEDDADLE (2008). Also accepted by Deadly Niche Press is her novel THE INCONVENIENT CORPSE.
